Berdych stole thunder, beat world's top tennis player at Sony Ericson Open

After the exit of top seed and defending champion American tennis star Andy Murray at the Sony Ericson Open in the first round, another top male player in professional tennis got booted out in the tournament.
Tennis superstar Roger Federer was defeated by 16 seeded Tomas Berdych 6-4, 6-7, 7-6 to advance to the quarterfinals in the ATP sanctioned tournament.
The upset victory is a great relief for one of the top professional tennis player from Czech Republic since it ended his eight consecutive losses against Federer.
The shocking win also offers smile to the 6-foot-5 Berdych since he had lost 11 matches in a row against top-10 opponents.
On the other-side of the fence, Federer is very sad with his loss since it deprived him the chance to compete big in the tournament.
